Ashleigh BrandProject Leader – Kaleidoscope Initiative, City of Stirling
Ashleigh is a highly experienced project manager, facilitator, diversity and leadership trainer and coach. She is committed to assisting workplaces to become more diverse. She is also a social change-maker with a passion to help newcomers realise their full potential in Western Australia. Ashleigh has more than 20 years’ experience working in communications, change management, organisational development, policy and technology. She also has more than eight years’ experience running her own business, consulting and project managing. She is an accredited coach and has skills and experience in leadership development, human resources, project management, business process improvement and policy development.
Cema SantosMentoring Coach, Metropolitan Migrant Resource Centre
Cema believes in giving back and making a difference in people’s life. She is the founder of My Mind Master and the Immigrant Business Networking Association which are all about giving back to the community and helping others to be successful in their personal lives and businesses. Her mission is to provide the best cross-cultural emotional support and business education to multicultural individuals seeking to establish themselves in their new land. Cema holds a Masters’ in Epidemiology with 15+ years in various research projects including the Occupational Health in Migrant Workers in Australia. She is an accredited trainer in NLP, Coaching with NLP and Hypnosis, with vast experience in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Career Counselling with a focus on immigrant issues (life & career).
Matthew GrayBusiness Development Officer - Kaleidoscope
Matthew is a highly experienced business development executive, account manager, strategy and customer service officer. He is a driven and dedicated service professional with over six years’ experience throughout the private sector working for FMCG conglomerates and global tech companies. He is experienced dealing with all sized businesses as well as government and not for profit organisations. He is committed to developing marketing content and business frameworks designed to make the Kaleidoscope Initiative sustainable for the long term. To deliver this commitment he leverages his passion in fostering strategic relationships to create mutually beneficial outcomes for both Local Governments and Corporate Bodies. His Bachelor in Marketing and Communications provides him with a sound understanding of the key external factors influencing the Vocational Education training sector.
Salome MuriukiProject Officer - Kaleidoscope
Salome spent four years of her early career working in insurance after completing an undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science. She then retrained as a marketing professional and spent two years in market research before securing her current role as a Project Officer for the City of Stirling within the Kaleidoscope Initiative. She also volunteers as a Secretary for the Kenya Chamber of Commerce WA chapter and a trainer for the OSFIT - MMRC program.
Jenny HicksMarketing Officer - Kaleidoscope
Jenny is a strategic marketing and communications professional with over 20 years of experience working for international and national organisations across the government, finance, legal and advertising industries. She holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and Management and looks after all aspects of the Kaleidoscope Initiative's marketing and brand management.
Saraswathi ChikkalaBusiness Support Officer - Kaleidoscope
Saru is a Business Support Officer at Kaleidoscope Initiative; she is an all-rounder and collaborates with other team members to deliver various administrative and project support services. She has a master’s degree in Biotechnology and has worked as a research assistant for over four years with a reputable research institution in India and Australia. Saru is passionate about giving back to the community, not afraid of taking a new direction and trying something different out of her comfort zone and enjoys research and analysis.
Dr Krishna KarangiyaKaleidoscope Project Officer/Rangoli Mentoring Coach
Krishna has 10+ years of experience in the education industry in particular in qualitative and quantitative research. She is actively contributing to research projects in collaboration with universities in Australia and India. Her aim is to explore solution-based strategies on migrant settlement resulting in workforce engagement to boost the economic benefits of diversity in Australia. Krishna is currently on maternity leave.
