This workshop is designed for the private sector, business owners, human resource professionals working in private organisations. There is an alternative session designed for Commonwealth, State and Local Government agencies and the Not for Profit Sector.
Join the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC) and the Kaleidoscope Initiative in an interactive workshop series designed to support organizations in building a diverse and inclusive workplace.

About the Session:
Research shows that culturally diverse teams can be more innovative — and more profitable.* But to make the most of this potential, organisations need to make sure they are inclusive.
How do you and other local employers approach diversity and inclusion in the workplace? How can the City of Stirling’s new Kaleidoscope Initiative support your organization to become more diverse and inclusive?
Join the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC), to explore how culture influences workplace inclusion at different stages of employment. In this this interactive working session, you can discuss your successes and challenges, and learn new strategies for building a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
You will get the chance to network with other local organisations, and your input will help the City of Stirling shape future initiatives for employers.
Anna has over seven years of international experience in learning and development and program management. Her areas of expertise include diversity and inclusion and social innovation. In her current role at TRIEC, she oversees a portfolio of programs and initiatives supporting employers in creating inclusive workplaces.
Prior to coming to Canada, Anna co-founded and led a not-for-profit in Krakow, Poland’s second largest city, and taught diversity management at the University of Applied Sciences at Kufstein, Austria. She holds an M.A. degree in Psychology from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, and the Adult Learning and Development Certificate from the University of Toronto.
Anna is a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) that measures intercultural competence, and the Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory that identifies an individual’s approach to resolving conflicts. She has lived and worked in six countries and speaks four languages.
