Kick-starting your Career in Australia Workshop Series

Join Tommy Adebayo and Jill Ashcroft for an interactive workshop series designed to help newcomers achieve their employment goals in Australia

• Session 1: Tuesday 27 February: Understanding Australian workplace culture
• Session 2: Tuesday 6 March: Refining your job search skills
• Session 3: Tuesday 13 March: Job interview techniques

Workshops start at 5.45pm and finish at 7.45pm. Light refreshments provided.

Following the workshops participants will have the opportunity to book a mock interview on Tuesday 20 March 2018. Mock interviews are great practice for the real thing and a good opportunity to obtain feedback that will help improve your interview technique.

The facilitators:

Tommy Adebayo is the author of Migrant Success 101 and CEO/founder of the Skilled Migrant Professional Magazine. For the past 9 years, he has served as the National Chairman of the African Professional of Australia. Tommy has post-graduate qualifications in Oil and Gas Engineering and works for Total Marine Technology as the Health Safety Environment Quality Manager.

Jill Ashcroft

Jill is an experienced trainer with a background in education. Jill worked for nine years in employment services, helping people from a range of backgrounds improve their skills to successfully obtain work in a wide range of industries and professions. She has held management positions in the marketing and community services fields and dedicated the majority of her career to assisting migrants both in Australia and the UK.
